We’ve got two items for this week’s 50L Friday. One is a unisex button-up shirt and the other is a spotty version our Frilly Little Knickers set. I suppose the lingerie could be unisex too, why not try it out and send us pictures?

A bra to go with the Frilly Little Knickers that appeared in a couple of 50L Fridays has been one of our most requested items. Here it is – and just in time for Valentine’s Day. The bras and knickers can all be bought separately for L$60 each (so you won’t have to re-buy the knickers if you picked them up at 50L Friday) and there are 3 different fatpacks – one for all 8 bras, another for all 8 knickers and one for everything.
You’re our Valentine. <3

Twiggy & I absolutely love look of the day style blogging and we’re both especially excited to see the different outfits that have been built around the Rachelle Cropped Bustier. It’s quite surprising to see the very different looks that the piece can fit into:
Grazia Horwitz of More Than Meets the Eye
Flutter Memel of It’s in Your Closet
Brooke1 Ashbourne of Divine Pixels
Euni Kira of euni kira
Have you put together a look using this or another of our products that you’re especially proud of? Let us know, there may even be a flickr group for it soon

It’s been a long time but after a mess of computer and internet issues we’re back with the first of our Pre-Valentine’s releases. The Rachelle Cropped Bustier comes in 7 colours for L$100 each or all 7 for L$500.

Today’s release is for men but as usual it looks plenty pretty on the ladies too. The Shay Contrast Stripe Shirt comes in 10 colour combinations for L$140 each (with one exception – see below) and all 10 for L$950.
The Finch&Tall Poppy version of the shirt hangs with its fellows but is completely free. My gift to say thank-you to those patient gents who have waited so long for a proper new menswear release. I haven’t provided a demo for this shirt because you can try it out with this freebie.
Cheers,
‘Kota & Twiggy.

We’ve been getting a few requests for the Boyd Dress Trousers to be available in fallow, well here they are – with 3 other pale colours, too. They can be found next to the previous colours of the trousers in the mens area.

I know that we promised a release for blokes but we will make up for the lack of menswear in this release very soon. We’ll also be getting back into a regular release schedule, sorry for such a long absence.
Today’s release includes the Lizzy Cropped Boatneck, this top is just a simple cropped top from the front but the back sits partially open – held together with bows and decorated with white lace. The top comes in 8 colours, as do the Georgie Tapered Trousers. These cropped pants sit high and tailored on the waist with a looser fit through the legs. Finally, the Tea Hawks Vest is a long, open sleeveless jacket. The buttons are black and the vest itself comes in 6 colours.
The jewelry released at the Jewelry Fair is also now available in the store, be sure to come in and check out the Whippet & Buck Accessory Wall.
Cheers!

This Friday’s item is a preview of a soon-to-be-released vest that has been in the works for way too long. It’s ready now so enjoy this purple and black number for just 50L and look forward to the full release next week.

I know we’ve been dragging our feet on the new release for a while now but I promise that it’s coming. In the mean time – Whippet & Buck has a little booth at Jewelry Fair 2009! I jumped at the opportunity as soon as I heard about it, I want W&B to start providing more accessories and the fair’s charity of choice – Oxfam – happens to be one that I feel passionately about. I applaud the organizers for choosing an international charity organization and I hope to see more SL groups embracing this. Second Life is a global community – it’s one of the best things about it.

On with the products: I’ve only got two items (in various colours) in the booth. One is the Rae Bird Brooch (seen above), it’s available in 4 colours and 50% of the profits from the green and gold brooch go to Oxfam. The other piece is a simple long necklace with a lazer-cut style pendant. You can choose either a whippet or a buck pendant and both options come in gold, silver or black. The necklace is named Peggy for my dearly departed whippet X who went to sleep for the last time this year at 17 and a half.
The brooch was named for the amazing Rae Spoon:

I don’t usually participate in blogger challenges but this one has particular appeal for me. If you’ve been around for a while you might remember that I use to wear a plus sized shape as my norm. These days my regular Dakota shape is much more svelte but it was a lot of fun to dress curves again for this challenge.
